I agree. But I think its a much larger issue than pigs. I do some work with the humane society and the same thing happens to dogs and cats -- some people get a dog and cat without much forethought and when they have to move or a problem comes up they dump them on their local human society -- but those same people would never do that to their furniture -- they have a garage sale to find a new home for those items.
